Current Partners and Projects
Tennessee State University - AgroTech Communications, Inc. is currently working with Tennessee State University (an 1890 Land Grand University) and South Dakota State University on a project titled: Development of Internet-Based Education for Biobased Product Information: Preparing Students for Careers in Agriculture. This project is being funded by Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service (CSREES) of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Biobased Manufacturers Association (BMA) - AgroTech Communications, Inc. is currently in charge of design, maintenance, and ongoing development of the website and Internet-communications for the Biobased Manufacturers Association (BMA). BMA was formed to promote excellence in the manufacture, sale and use of biobased products and the responsible development of renewable resources. (www.biobased.com)
New Uses Council (NUC) - AgroTech Communications, Inc. is working directly with New Uses Council (NUC) on website development, communication, organization administration, and strategic consulting. NUC is a dynamic and expanding, 501(c)(3) non-profit membership organization dedicated to the development and commercialization of biobased products. (www.newuses.org)
Biobased Information System™ - AgroTech Communications, Inc. is continually expanding the Biobased Information System™, the company's proprietary online database. Recent organizations that have joined the network include: American Coalition for Ethanol, Bioproducts Canada, Biotechnology Industry Organization, European Commission, National Biodiesel Board, and USDA. AgFiber Technology News - AgroTech Communications, Inc. has been publishing this monthly online newsletter since 1999 for a global group of clients interested in the use of various agricultural fibers (flax, cotton, rice straw, etc.) in manufacturing biobased products. (www.agfibertechnology.com).
Sun Grant Initiative - AgroTech Communications, Inc. designed, developed, and is maintaining information on the website for the Sun Grant Initiative - National Program. This initiative is a US-based network coordinated by five regional land-grant universities spearheaded by South Dakota State University, and also including two US Department of Energy laboratories. American Kenaf Society (AKS) - AgroTech Communications, Inc. was contracted by American Kenaf Society to work with the AKS Board of Directors to coordinate the organization's conference on November 7-9, 2002 in Memphis, Tennessee. (www.kenafsociety.org)
Agricenter International - AgroTech Communications, Inc. designed and developed the website and continually provides assistance in forming strategic direction to Agricenter International a 501c3 organization that includes a multi-million dollar agricomplex, innovative research farm, and a natural wildlife area. AgFiber Technology Showcase - AgroTech Communications, Inc. coordinated three international conferences called the AgFiber Technology Showcase from 1998-2000. These events attracted over 160 individuals from throughout the world.
Alberta Research Council - AgroTech Communications, Inc. worked with Alberta Research Council to coordinate the Non-Wood Pulp and Paper Symposium in 2000.
